Monika Bischof
Monika grew up in the stunning mountain region of the Toggenburg in Switzerland. She spent her childhood sledging, skiing and hiking in the nearby meadows and peaks. Her passion for nature and wildflowers led her to become a florist.
Her interest in different cultures and landscapes led Monika to New Zealand. There she fell in love with the beautiful wilderness, it’s friendly locals and eventually her husband. She lived in Aotearoa / New Zealand for many years and had a successful and varied career as a florist and floristry tutor.
With the desire to spend more time outside in nature, she now works in the outdoor adventure industry. She is completing the NZMGA training pathway as a Ski and Alpine Trekking Guide.
Monika’s enjoyment of people, the wildlife, native flowers and breathtaking landscapes will ensure you have a great time in the mountains with her.
