Tim Miller

I am based in Scotland, but only spend a few months of the year there as I tend to spend a large chunk of time in the European Alps mountain guiding in summer and ski and ice guiding in the winter. I also spend a lot of time on expeditions or rock climbing trips, last year I was crack climbing in the Utah dessert in the US.

I love exploring new and interesting places around the world and sharing these experiences with people is what makes mountain guiding so special to me. I have been climbing, mountaineering and skiing fanatically since my teenage years and have taken part in expeditions to Nepal, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan where we have climbed new routes and summited unclimbed peaks.

This year I am in New Zealand from October till February and am really looking forward to getting to know the mountains and the people here.
