If stepping onto glaciers, moving confidently through complex alpine terrain, and building the skills to climb independently is on your summer wish list — this is your course.

Our Intensive Mountaineering Skills Course is a full-immersion week in the Southern Alps, focused on real mountain travel and decision-making. You’ll spend seven days living and training in an alpine environment — based at our very own heated Caroline Hut — developing strong foundations in rope work, crampon technique, glacier travel, anchors, crevasse rescue and movement on steep snow and ice — all under the guidance of experienced IFMGA and NZMGA-qualified guides.
