We’ve had some wild weather recently. When the Symphony on Skis Traverse wasn’t on the cards, we headed east for a Cass Valley “Haute Route” instead — it turned out to be an excellent plan B.

Hut-to-hut from O’Leary’s to Falcon’s Nest to Lady Emily, with plenty of extra laps along the way.

We battled the winds, scored wind-drifted powder and spring corn, and somehow clocked even more vertical than the plan A route.

Not quite the Symphony — but a pretty good remix. 🎿❄️
