🏔️ Ball Pass Summit Trek ❄️
Three big days in classic Aoraki / Mt Cook alpine trekking terrain.
Up the direct route to Caroline Hut, then a standout middle day climbing Kaitiaki Peak and crossing the Ball Glacier — crampons on almost the whole way, with just a short ridge section up Fergun’s Knob.
We wrapped it up by dropping back to the Tasman Valley via Ball Ridge, with incredible views over the lower Caroline Icefall — absolutely worth the descent for that alone.
Serious alpine travel, big glaciers, and unforgettable scenery.
