Winter in the Southern Alps is nothing short of spectacular. ❄️🏔️
These incredible images were captured by our guest Samuel during last week’s Winter Mountaineering Course from Caroline Hut. From glowing sunset cloud formations over Aoraki / Mount Cook and Mount Tasman to snow streaming from the summits in powerful alpine winds, these are the moments that make winter mountaineering so special.
